Student Clubs & Activities
Student clubs create small communities that attract people who share the same interests. Club activities develop a sense of unity and teamwork learning how to work with others in reaching the same goals.
Junior Red Cross
The JRC aims at bringing alive the humanitarian spirit of students through workshops imparting hands-on training in first-aid techniques.
National Services Scheme (NSS)
Service to community and social responsibility form the essence of the NSS which organizes regular visits to orphanages, rural areas, hospitals etc. Monetary contributions are also made from the funds pooled in by the school through its various activities.
National Cadet Corps (NCC)
A club of honour where cadets are selected through a rigorous selection process and are subject to a 10-day massive camp where the trainees are exposed to the military unit and life of the armed forces.
International Award for Young People (IAYP)
In the quest for self-discovery, our students have enthusiastically enrolled for IYAP. Exhilarating trips to hill stations and visits to orphanages are the highlights of this club.
Karuna Club
As the name suggests, ‘Karuna’ or simply compassion is the essential feature of this club. In pursuit of this end, students involve themselves in altruistic acts such as preserving the environment and caring for animals.

NATIONAL GREEN CORPS (NGC)
NGC is another club that’s very relevant in the face of a pressing need to save the environment through planting trees and promoting sustainability.
ROAD SAFETY PATROL (RSP)
RSP is one club whose members play an indispensable role in vehicular and pedestrian traffic regulation to ensure the school zone is free from congestion.

Interact club of Madras, part of Rotary Club of Madras Central, sensitizes its members to the social issues around us.
PHILATELY CLUB
The philately club presents a beautiful way to educate students about the history, geography, art and culture of different countries through the study of stamps. The club brings back the so-called old-fashioned hobby and offers its members the perfect delight.

Co-curricular Activities
SPORTS
Gill Adarsh gives prominence to the area of sports and athletics and basks in the glory of the success of many of its district, state and national level players. Intense training is given for individual as well as group events. Inter-school Kabadi and Volley Ball matches are conducted within the premises of the school every year. Cricket coaching is provided for interested students within the campus during the early hours of the day.
ART
The Co-curricular activities that include music, art, dance, drama and literary competitions like oratorical and essay writing which are held in English, Tamil and Hindi from time to time.
Quizzes and talent contests are periodically run by the school to give students a platform to test their knowledge and skills in Maths, Science and Social. The Olympiads conducted in all the subjects give scope to the young genius to showcase their intellectual prowess
